I am an individual who believes ambition is key and hard work and dedication will always pay off. During my time in undergrad, I learned to adapt, become open-minded and grow from my weaknesses. As a goal-oriented woman, I take on every opportunity that comes my way. Throughout my experiences, growing from mistakes and life lessons were the stepping stones for me to rebuild and reconstruct new paths to help mold the future I want for myself. As an individual, I have developed to think more critically to better understand society, politics, the industry and more.

I have a passion for creativity and interacting with people. I believe in making memorable first impressions that someone will always carry with them. Within communicating or sharing stories, I want to be able to interact with a diverse range of people, and that guided me to further my studies in Spanish Language & Literature.
Personal Statement
At N.C Central University I received my B.S in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast and another B.S in Spanish Language and Literature with a Minor in Business Administration. While I was in undergrad a multitude of courses prepared me for hands on opportunities , such as; Video, Audio and Sports Production;Writing for Radio and Television, Desktop Publishing, Media Law/ Ethics and more. Also, my experience working with the Television Studio, WNCU/ Audionet and reporting for the Campus Echo assisted me with strong fundamentals and experience for a diverse range of content.

Within my education and profession, my ultimate goals are to receive my Master’s in International Communications and establish my own bilingual magazine and production company. This media outlet would cornerstone African American and Latino news, lifestyle, entertainment, culture, art and issues. I enjoy communicating and interacting with individuals not only to be able to connect with them, but because just like a photographer, I am able to capture a moment during someone else’s life as a memorable memory for both of us…forever.
